James Vance Review: Mongol
A film that purports to tell the story of Genghis Khan’s formative years sounds more like a Monty Python premise than a serious piece of cinema, but “Mongol” pulls it off with style, intelligence and enough sheer entertainment value to place it among the most satisfying films to hit local screens this summer.
