As Apple fans are eagerly awaiting the debut of a new MacBook model that impresses with a new design, a concept that envisions that ultra-sleek laptops that emit colorful rotations are attracting attention online. Apple has carved its unique place in the consumer electronics industry with its product design philosophy over the years. Pioneered by the likes of Jony Ive, the classic MacBook Air in all-metal glory from the Steve Jobs era still remains a design not much distorted by Apple over the years, and its inspiration can still be seen in the present-day M1 MacBook Air.
However, each design has a limited longevity, and it can be said that this is the time that Apple should give the look of the MacBook Air a big improvement, given that the lineup has been using the same basic aesthetic since 2018. Like recent rumors, the MacBook The new Water will likely make its debut later this year with some major design changes, such as better port selection, new colors, and MagSafe port returns. In essence, users will reportedly find an internal M2 chip.
The latest concept video comes from a motion graphics artist Devam Jangra and shows off a device that shakes up the flat -screen MacBook Pro aesthetic. The keyboard borrows some design elements from the new Magic Keyboard, to the outline of the hidden Touch ID buttons. Although, the most captivating element is the fresh color profile inspired by the new iMac. Even compared to the iMac portfolio, the colors on the MacBook Air concept are brighter and brighter.
A Colored Glimpse into the Future, Directly from the iBook Era
According to reliable sources, including BloombergMark Gurman, the new MacBook Air will come with a redesigned version of MagSafe recharging technology found on older Apple laptops. The bezel will be thinner while the screen size remains intact at 13 inches, which means the device will be more compact compared to the current M1 -powered MacBook Air. Apple reportedly wants to introduce a larger 15 -inch model as well, but the plan appears to have been delayed. Ahead of port selection, there will be a pair of USB 4 (Type-C) ports and a 3.5mm headphone / microphone combo jack.
Leakster Jon Prosser also recently claimed that the MacBook Air refresh will suddenly shake up a color palette similar to the iMac or iPad Air (Gen 4). Instead, this concept video envisions the upcoming MacBook Air in navy green, blue, light purple (similar to the iPhone 12 purple), orange, pink, yellow, and silver. Another notable design change – which is also a callback to the iBook G3 – is the white bezel. Interestingly, the keyboard is also white and looks gray from some angles, which is another deviation from the black deck on the latest gen MacBook models. Of course, these are concept rendering, which means they’re very different from the final product, but Apple has lately increasingly liked attractive colors, which also means concept rendering can’t be automatically ruled out like Apple’s other fantasy products. In any case, the concept gives everyone an idea of how the MacBook Air looks like rocking bright colors.
