Welcome to YouTube Millionaire, where we promote a channel that recently surpassed the one million subscriber mark. There are channels that cross this threshold every week, and every creator has a story to tell about YouTube’s success. Read the previous installment here.
This week’s YouTube Millionaire installment is brought to you by Bright – a learning platform that focuses on real conversations that elevate your life.
With YouTube Millionaires this week, we’re a little late in marking the reach of their million subscribers – but that’s only because they’re increasing their viewership at the highest level, bringing in hundreds of thousands of new viewers every week.
Tsuriki show is a family of four based in Moldova, a small Eastern European country. Like many of us Growing Creators features and YouTube Millionaire last week, their channel went live when they started uploading content to Youtubes Tik tok competitors, Shorts, in March.
At the end of April, their channel had 235,000 subscribers and gained more than 400 million lifetime views. In May, their videos – a combination of comedy and lifestyle clips, all featuring peppy instrumental songs and no verbal words – collectively garnered more than a billion views. In June, they garnered 2.7 billion views. And so far in July, the content of the Tsuriki Show has generated more than a billion views. Video like This is not David Copperfield’s magic trick and Guess the voice challenge and The funniest joke has seen significant traffic in Shorts, with total views so far of 220 million, 178 million, and 128 million, respectively. In all, more than 50 of the roughly 500 videos they have submitted since March have garnered at least 30 million views each.
Of course, it’s not just the number of their views that is increasing. In June alone, the Tsuriki Show added 1.8 million new customers, and in the first week of July, they added another 330,000.
For families, this warm response is a sign to make content creation a full -time focus, and to expand their efforts to other short video platforms. They are now launching a daily video on Shorts, TikTok, where they have 2.7 million followers, and Snapchats Focus.

Tubefilter: How does it feel to reach a million subscribers? What do you have to say to your fans?
Tsuriki Impressions: Reaching a million subscribers on YouTube is amazing! The sensation is comparable to when you dream about something very powerful and suddenly it comes true! I think anyone out there who has a dream will understand. To all our fans, we would like to say a deep thank you! We greatly value each other and try to take into account the interests of our customers. We and our fans are a great team, where everyone plays a very important role.
Tubefilter: Tell me a little about you! How did you meet? What did you do in the days before YouTube?
TS: We live in a small country, Moldova, with a population of only 3.5 million people, and before YouTube, our lives were completely different. I work in a permanent job in the civil service. And even though I held a leading position, I always knew that that wasn’t where I wanted to be in life. We can use sunny and cloudy weather as an example of how YouTube changed our lives: Before YouTube, the weather in our family was mostly “cloudy and often rainy,” but YouTube made its own adjustments to weather reports, and now our family has a favorite season — summer!
Tubefilter: When and why did you start a YouTube channel?
TS: We decided to get involved with YouTube in 2017 and started with children’s content. We want to spend more time with our kids and see YouTube as a great place to do that. We have also always dreamed of being free – not tied to jobs and housing in one place. I want to travel and for our children to see what we didn’t see in our childhood.
Our dream came true only after four long years! We didn’t give up, diligently pursued our ambitions, and finally it was time when we could touch our dreams! Just by making a great joint effort, we managed to find our niche, and even though we have distanced ourselves from children’s content, we still continue to go through filming with the whole family, which is very interesting to us and brings us closer.
Tubefilter: Why did you decide to focus on satire and family -friendly content? What do you hope viewers throw at your content?
TS: Thanks to regular fans and viewers that our content now has family challenges and humor. They gave us the most practical advice and helped us choose the right direction! Challenges and family content is something that every member of our family loves. Very easy, fun, and exactly how we want to spend our days, together!
Tubefilter: We noticed you recently started uploading to YouTube Pants. How do Shorts perform for you when looking for an audience? Does it offer something not provided by the main YouTube platform? Why are shorts good for your channel?
TS: Shorts are a new discovery for us on YouTube. Short videos are what is lacking on this site. Short videos turn the whole world upside down and, strangely enough, give more freedom to creators and viewers. The shorts opened a new chapter in our YouTube history, a new and very exciting chapter, where we started to feel more freedom and interaction with the audience! Perhaps many are tired of long videos on the homepage, while Shorts has revived new life on YouTube. This is a much needed symbiosis for everyone!

Tubefilter: Is YouTube your full -time job? How often do you make movies? What is your average day like?
TS: Today YouTube is not only our ongoing work, but our lifestyle and meaning. This is what gives us freedom! Our content makes people happy, which means making millions of people a little happier. And nothing gives us more motivation than smiles and kind comments from our audience. This is what loads us with incredible and positive energy that helps us create creative and fun videos. Every day we write a script and make it a reality, which is often time consuming all day, but the price of this effort is feedback from our fans, so we happily do the work without thinking about the time.
Tubefilter: Do you have a strategy for growing your audience? Have you noticed that certain types of content are more interesting than others? Do you customize what you create depending on the reaction of your audience?
TS: Of course, the most important aspect of growing and evolving on YouTube is building strategies and tactics in the content creation process. Currently, we already have 2 million customers, and we plan to double that number. To understand the types of content that appeal to potential audiences, we analyze published videos, read comments, and review the analysis carefully. We also actively maintain a YouTube Community section, conduct polls, and thus interact with our audience, which also helps us understand which direction is better to move!
Tubefilter: How do you make your video stand out amidst all the noise on YouTube?
TS: There are a few simple rules that will make our video stand out from millions of other videos. First, each participant must enjoy the process. If someone does it by force, then most likely the content will fail. The audience must not be fooled! And the second important rule is that content should be beneficial to society. If your content doesn’t bring meaning and benefit, chances are the content won’t be relevant to the audience. By following these two simple but very important rules, your video is sure to stand out from millions of others.
Tubefilter: What’s your favorite part of creating content on YouTube?
TS: For us, the most valuable thing in creating YouTube content is the process itself! There was a positive atmosphere present throughout the filming, and again as the audience evaluated the content. We enjoy making ourselves and the lives of millions of others a little happier!
Tubefilter: Have you developed your personal content and brand from YouTube at all? Launching any merchandise, related business, presence on other social platforms …? Do you want?
TS: At this stage, we are actively developing our content and working to create other genres. In addition to YouTube, we successfully expanded on TikTok, Yandex Zen, Instagram, and recently started our expansion with Snapchat (Spotlight). Every day, we monitor how social networks are evolving and decide where they should be!
Tubefilter: What’s next for you? Do you have any plans for the future?
TS: Plans for the Tsuriki Show? The plan is glorious! The main plan is to benefit the community and better understand the needs of the audience. We plan to go further and don’t think about quitting!
Tsuriki Show is represented by BroadbandTV.
