Michael Smith Review: Ashes of Time Redux

“Ashes of Time Redux” is a visually scintillating “wuxia,” or Asian martial arts film, from director Wong Kar Wai, who from time to time targets U.S. filmgoers, with recent films such as “2046” and last year’s “Blueberry Nights,” which featured the acting debut of Norah Jones and found little audience interest.
